Sure it's ok to ask, but I'm not sure how honest of an answer you'll get. You should be able to tell without asking though.

What's the sense? If you have to ask either they are doing things to make you feel that way or you are just insecure yourself. Either way it's not good.

If they are cheating, they will lie and deny it, and still claim to love you. My ex was one of those cheaters...and still swears that the other woman was just a friend. yeah, right! buh bye!

People who are lying usually won't look you straight in the eyes. When you ask, the answer they give you isn't as important as how they react. If they protest to much or stutter around nervously, you can bet they are lying. It's always OK to ask. You can always apologise if you wrong and just explain that you've been getting some funny vibes from them. Remember "ASK - don't ACCUSE"
