Does your cat ever take all the toilet paper off of the roll?

    Absolutely, I was going through 5 rolls a week. (NOT naturally!) Take your roll and flatten it, it will still come off for you, but doesn't pull as easily for the cat. I didn't find turning the roll around helped, but my cat was very determined!

    my cat does this kitty thing where he puts his mouth on the toilet paper and rips the toilet paper to peices, then he does the unraveling- even i reversed the roll. I just make sure the bathroom door is shut.
    my cat doesn't do this anymore, since i give him dental treats (feline greenies) for being good and not destroynig the bathroom and i verbally tell him that he is a good boy. cats do this out of frustration, even if they have toys and you play with them. they sense there is a change or tension in the air.

    to this day, my 4-yr old cat will occasionally "make a nest," which is such a treat to find as I step out of the shower! Toys, treats, and they're indoor/outdoor cats with all those distractions... Sometimes cats can't resist paper, like neutered males cannot resist plastic.

    Hope he outgrows it: in the meantime, consider putting the TP in the cabinet within *your* reach, Two Thumbs.

    My youngest cat does this. I have to keep my bathroom doors closed when I'm not home, otherwise he will shred the rolls of TP.

    lol, not only do they take it off no matter how big it is they actually will carry it out of the bathroom into the middle of the living room floor and rip it to shreads, so i close the bathroom door, or give them a small roll to have fun with.
