If after re-posessing the vehicle, there is $$ owed after they sell it, and he does not pay the difference. They will come after you, and obtain a judgement. Your signature in the co-sign binds you 100% responsible.

If the balance of a car loan less than 10% owed, mainly their late fees , is written off to bad debt can they still repo the car

So what if he refuses to forfeit the truck? Then what? do the repo people just keep looking for it? I am just wondering how long this is going to be on my credit if they don't get the truck right away.
