I use it at least 2-3x a wk. I put the food in in the a.m when I leave and one of the older children turn it off in the afternoon if it hasn't already turned itself off or if the food is done.It is so convenient for me throughout the week to cook w/it.

I use and abuse my crockpot!! Most weeks it is used 2 - 3 times. It is just to easy to rely on when we are gone all the time.

I don't actually have one. I have a slow cooker, that comes apart. There's no stick burner, and a metal pan with a lid. I most often use the pan on my stove top, because it is the perfect size for soups and stuff. It can even use in the oven. I use that part about 2 to 3 times a week. The slow cooker/burner I might use about 3 times a year, but it is handy.

I used to hardly ever use one. I have a small one that I'd use occasionally to make dips for parties, but it wasn't big enough for roasts, chicken, etc.
I got a new 3 qt one a couple of months ago, and now I use it at least twice a week, sometimes 3 times a week.

at least weekly. I actually prepare crockpot meals in advance - I assemble the ingredients and freeze them. Then, all I have to do is pull a bag of food out of the freezer, toss the whole frozen block in my crock pot, turn it on, and come home to a delicious smelling home and wonderful dinner.

We have 2 and use at least one a couple of times a week. We only cook for 2, my wife and I, and make enough for several meals at a time. Since we are retired we have the time to do the set up at 3 and eat it at 6.

3-4 times a month. I like to use it in the summer so I'm not heating up the whole house. And I don't use it as much in the winter when I can place something on the wood stove to simmer for a long time.

- No not now, though back in the 70s that's all we had as we didn't even have electricity lol!!! But I still love cooking with wood. We use our wood stove to simmer things inside during the winter and we cook in dutch ovens using wood, not charcoal, outside in the better weather or if we can shovel to our fire pit LOL!! I've always felt like an oldtime but modern homesteader. We used to do nearly everything ourselves, I made soap out of our fat from animals we raised and ashes from our stove:-) My parents always thought I was nuts and born in the wrong era!

About once a month.

When we know we're going to be gone most of the day AND we KNOW what we want for dinner, I start everything in the morning. When we get home - VOILA! Dinner's ready - fresh, hot AND without any trouble!

As far as I'm concerned the microwave is okay for "spur-of-the-moment" food, but the slow cooker works best for me or us ["THRE Goddess - the lady I'm currently dating].
