Where is a good place to meet a nice single man, besides the internet, bars and church (I'm in my early 50s)?

You could join a club or take a class, that's a great way to meet people. It doesn't have to be every week if you don't have time, you could just go once a month or so. You could try singles ads in your local paper or a dating agency. My friend tried it and met some lovely blokes, they are not all sad losers! Or you could throw a 'bring a single friend' party, where everyone has to bring a friend that is single (obviously).

The best way to find a decent man i think would be through your good freinds.they might have a bbq and have freinds over and their freinds might now someone who is single,etc.Thats probably the better way of doing things instead of the bars and stuff.
