  • Look under the air filter, it is usually a dirt area under the house. Check in the attic around all the vents to make sure that none of the splices have pulled apart. Take the cold air return vent cover off (usually located in a hallway on a wall close to the floor) and check in there.. If you have had any smoke from the kitchen go through your range hood and does it expel into the attic? These are just a few things to ponder and check. Hope it helps.
  • Usually the stuff in the filter comes from the vents when the furnace is running. Heve you had your vents cleaned latley? We found some dinky toys and other not so nice surprises in ours!
  • Yes I believe they do use cameras to see what the problem is. We had ours done by Sears and it was $395 Canadian, and they come back again in 5 years and do it for free. Hope you get the problem fixed soon! Godd luck!
