Yes, sometimes. And I feel bad about it!

I'm shopping there less and less.

They are commiting what one Congressman called Ecomomic Treason. What a brilliant term for sending our jobs away to other countries!

I don't shop there, because there is one that is conveniently located near me, but I have no objection to their business practices.

I choose to shop there, and Target. They don't shut down local businesses, the consumer makes a choice and the marketplace reacts accordingly.

You have a good point.
They usually are cheaper. However, the merchandise is sometimes made cheaper also and they are known for not paying their employees very well.
Those factors allow them to sell cheaper!

Oh, sure, you are correct. In Chicago, despite a national minimum wage of like $6.25 or whatever, they wanted to enact a 'big box' minimum wage, basically saying if you're store is big enough, you will have to pay a minimum wage of like $17.00 or $18.00 an hour -- or simply put, a Wal-Mart minimum wage. Wal-Mart built all around the city's borders and Chicagoans then choose to leave the city limits and shop there. They never calculated how many square feet Starbucks or McDonalds takes up in there city. Way more than 1 Wal-Mart I'd guess.
Still, it's been proven time and time again that the free market works 100% of the time it is tried, much like abstenance.

Sometimes there is no other place to buy. Especially in some smaller towns.

I patronize them because they have the lowest prices on the stuff I buy. All else is immaterial.
