  • It depends what strain of HPV you're carrying - only certain strains lead to cervical cancer so if you DIDNT test positive for those strains (I believe the numbers are 16 and 11 that lead to cancer) then you shouldn't have a problem conceiving. When you say "outbreak" I'm assuming you mean warts around the vagina? That's the lowest strain of HPV and sometimes it can go away on its own. I was tested for HPV when my cells came back abnormal on a pap test, even had a colposcopy performed. Make sure you keep up with your annual pap tests that's so important...it's the only way to find out what's going on down there and to catch things early :)
