Soda has a lot of calories but doesn't satiate hunger. Also, the acidity and sugar leads to tooth decay.

Healthy people are hydrated people, and I hear that soda dehydrates you, so if you give it up, and drink water more or instead for a while, and work out and stay hydrated, you will be more physically fit.

I don't know about anything but my own experience, but I have not really had heart burn since I stopped drinking sodas in January.

losing weight around your waist and thighs...i gave up soda for 3 months and lost about 10 lbs. now i only drink one soda a month if that.

If by soda, you mean sugared drinks like coca-cola, you just may help yourself avoid diabetes. You may also lose a good deal of weight, especially body fat, lower your blood cholesterol and even lower you blood pressure. My husband enjoyed all these benefits when he switched to diet 6 months ago. He's lost a total of 40 lbs so far.

I had given up soda likek a year ago for about 3 months and in only one week i had lost about 7 pounds, that is due to the fact the i drank about a 2 liter a day. I began to drink it again, and i decided now to give it up since feb 1 and i it's been close to 3 months. i have better complexion, lost about 10 pounds and the best part is im not as tired as i was when i stopped drinking soda, i almost live on water , i do have sugar still, but it is a very good idea to give up soda. it also helps with your teeth and gums
