I have sleep paralysis. how long do these "attacks" happen for others who have it? are there different severity levels for such a thing? can the duration of these attacks determine it's severity, or is it how often it occurs that determines severity?

Hey, Ive had these for a long time and very often. Sometimes mild: the creature would just paralyse me. Sometimes medium: the creature would paralyse me and make her presence known by smothering me or talking to me or grazing her hair against my back. And sometimes hardcore: the creature would push my face in sooo deep that the bed springs and wires would cut through my cheeks and there'd be a puddle of blood around. Or she would taunt me, or chase me, or create a whole plot, watch me walk into the scenario and then make me fail. As for the duration, for me sometimes it seems like 30 seconds and sometimes it seems like hours. I don't know if you are talking about just being paralysed, because if you are consider yourself lucky lol

When I have attacks it seems like it lasts for hours. It's awful! Mine are very standard & used to happen every other day or so. Now it's once a month probably.
