My being in a relationship with a guy is not dependent on his willy. I have only been with circumcised men and it is definitely more the "norm" here in the US to be circumcised. :)

I dont really know what an uncircumcised feels like....all Ive had is snipped. I dont think it would make a difference though, as long as he keeps up on his cleanliness

i don't care. my husband is uncircumsised and it really doesn't matter to me... although its not so good for babies and little boys, i've heard, for hygeinic reasons. the "tip" can get infected pretty easily if their parent (when doing diapers) or they (once potty trained) don't clean it thoroughly and frequently.

there might be a thing or two I don't know about the american culture, but am I the only one who thinks the question should rather be "Ladies in the USA! Would you care if you found out your new boyfriend was circumcised?"? I've always thought this was something you only did in very traditional jewish and muslim areas..

Definitely. It was enough of a problem for me (and every other girl he'd been with) that i never gave him oral sex (i tried for like fifteen seconds, but thought it was too strange, and never touched it again)

I was unpleasantly surprised by the look of at first, and didnt like the way it felt. he said he normally could pull the skin back all the way, but he had some kind of problem with it and i lost interest. i mean, he could at least done that before we got that far. anyway, i just got up and left. i made sure to ask my current boyfriend *before* that happened again kelsey

Only in the USA lol. Women dont really have this dilemma in the UK, as pretty much everyone is uncut. Why are there so many circumcised guys in America, is it because you have a large Jewish population there? I happened to skip past the American version of Big Brother on the TV the other day and noticed all the girls screaming and ewwwwwing at the fact one of the housemates was uncut so had pretty much gotten the idea that most American women shared that same opinion. Good to see that most AB users are more open minded :-)

True story, told to me by a friend: Friend of mine was telling new boyfriend about her ex-- that, you know, it's not that she's shallow, but their relationship had been on the rocks already and then his penis turned out to be really ugly and weird looking and it was just bad icing on the bad cake. new boyfriend inquires, uh... would it bother her if a guy was uncircumcised? She is surprised, says, "(name), you're not circumcised?" "Nope." ".... Can I see?" Now, they're in the car and he's driving, but he shrugs and undoes his belt/zipper. Nope. My father was uncut, as were three of my brothers, my stepson and my two boys. So, I've seen uncircumcised penises in their relaxed state and (from what I've heard) they are not that different looking from circumsized penises when fully erect. So no visual shock for me. On the other hand, there are a number of minor complications that can cause "deformities" in circumsized boys. Hairy shaft is a condition cause by an overly tight circumsision. Until I read about that, I just thought it was natural in my partner's family to have a little bit of hair on the lower portion of the shaft. Still, cut or uncut is not something that bothers me.

I'm not from the USA, but to give you a UK perspective: Circumcision is uncommon here, though I have had a couple of circumcised partners as well as uncircumcised ones. I have a strong preference for a man to be natural and uncircumcised - so if, to reverse the situation, I found out that my boyfriend was circumcised, I would be disappointed but it would not affect whether I wanted a relationship with him or not. I'm just not that keen on men being circumcised.

Nope, and I was with a man who was circumcised and he whined about it all the time saying that his parents had made the decision for him, and that they cut off a portion of his body that he could have received more pleasure from etc etc. Although foreskins are more susceptible to tears, therefore making STDs a slightly higher risk for those who have foreskins, and don't use protection.

I wouldn't care. I actually asked a friend of mine, because we were talking about european/american attitudes on sex, whether he was uncut. He laughed. he said he was uncut, and furthermore was boggled at why anyone would be.
