Yes, there is gravity between the space shuttle and earth as it orbits. As singwell, wrote, if this were not the case, then the shuttle would just fly off into space. However, the reason that the astronauts don't feel the gravity is because they are in constant free fall. That is, when a object is in orbit of some other body, it is falling around it.

Yes. Any material object distorts space and thus creates gravity. The strength of the distortion decreases as the square of the distance ( if I remember correctly ), but the mass of the space shuttle is so small relative to the mass of the earth, that for all practical purposes the shuttle has no impact on the earth.
