Yes it is, most contraceptives are effected by antibiotics. The Depo shot is one of them. I'm not sure how long after you stop taking the antibiotics that you are safe again, I would talk to your doctort about that. Hope your well again soon!
Is there a weight limit for using Depo-Provera like there is with the patch?

I just started on depo-provera about a month ago and I've been having night sweats just about every night for a couple weeks. Could this be a side-effect or something else?

I have been on depo provera for about 12 years. My breasts are always tender right before my injections but never otherwise. My last injection was a month ago but my breasts are tender and very swollen and I am worried. Could I be pregnant?

Hi i would like 2 kno why my breasts hurts so much and my stomach and also frequent urination headache heartburn spotting and a lil bet of naudea but i've been on depo for like 10 months now but i was suppost 2 get it on the 3rd of february n i had sex on
