  • I suggest eating fruit for breakfast, a yogurt & half a sandwich for lunch, and the other half of the sandwich for dinner for like a month or 2. Walk instead of taking the elevator, etc & try to find excuses to walk places & get more activity. If you have time try putting together a short workout routine & do it like 3 times a week if possible. I wouldn't go the "meds" route because it messes with your metabolism & your sleep patterns, etc.
  • I know you probably know this, but it IS the best method. Eat less/healthy & exercise AND stick to it! OK, if you can be strong, simply take your normal meals and eat half. Make sure you're eating three meals a day, just eat half of each meal. If you are just starved between these meals snack on fruit. You will seriously be amazed how quickly the lbs fall off. Now, exercise will tone you and only make this process 10 times faster. The point is to burn more calories than you consume. Your body will naturally use most calories to stay healthy, that's why eating less is important. Less will be stored as fat and if your exercising none will be stored as fat. I know more than anyone what a pain it is to exercise, but you just have to...Go home and do jump n' jacks if nothing else! You'll be surprised at the increased amount of energy you'll have. Oh yeah, if you can stomach it, drink a swig of apple cider vinegar every day. It will break down the fat you intake..Above all, DO NOT eat fast food and YOU know the unhealthy kind! Stick to it, girl, you can do it!!!!
  • I have lost 75 pounds over the last year and a half simply by walking 3 miles per day, not eating after 7pm, and cutting everything in half. I did not deprive myself of sweets,or certain foods. I just had smaller portions. I have kept the weight off by doing this and you will feel much better when you get to walking. I did walk at a fast pace but I built up to it. Good Luck
  • ok, first, those weight loss pills wont do the trick, you need to do cardiovascular exercise. you can take them to help you along, but they dont work all by themselves(basically, pills dont work at all, im sorry). a good cardio work out is just to jog. If you have a hard time with that, start off with walking for a week, then slowly pick up the pace, like a fast walk. you will eventually be able to work your way up to jogging, but dont force this on your self quickly, slowly work into it. jogging is a great way to burn calories, and the more calories you burn, the more weight you loose. as i said before, start slowly. jog (or walk) for about 30 mins. a day, then slowly start working your way up so that you jog or walk for longer periods of time. this isnt something that will work in one week, give it some time, but believe me it is very affective! And you want to know a way to make it better? walking or jogging at an incline (up a hill, or if you have a treadmill, set it at an incline, if yours has that ability.) This will help you burn more calories, because it takes more energy to do it. i hope this helped :)
  • some pills DO work, but that doesnt mean the weight will just come right back even faster and probably heavier. also, exercising and healthy eating is good for you whether you're overweight or not. don't let instant gratification screw you over.
  • I'll tell you what worked for me, the '3 hour diet' I found the book at B. Dalton, Every 3 hours you eat a certain amount of each food group, it is a very easy diet to follow, and it works quickly (I lost 15lbs in the first 25 days) You will not be the least bit hungry and it is a really healthy way to lose weight. Hope this helps

  • You should structure whatever you do so that it's a permanent, manageable program. You should have a backstop so that you don't lose a lot then gain a lot more. Otherwise, it's a waste of time and effort over and over again.
  • The only thing that has worked for me, and helped me keep it off, is cutting portions. Everything i eat i try to eat less than half of what i normally would.
  • eat fruit and excersize
  • DO SLIMMING PILLS REALLY WORK? The answer to this age old question is not a simple one. Why? Because it is all a matter of determining the real slimming pills from the fake. So what can do you do? How can you find this answer? One sure way is to look at their backing. Now we don't mean just their customer testimonials. No, we mean everything: their clinical trials, their medical backing and their media coverage. The media for example would not readily support a slimming pill without believing in the credibility of its weight loss results first. If they did, not only would this open them up to endless letters of complaint if the slimming pill did not work, but also their own position as a reliable source would come under fire. So you see, unless a newspaper thoroughly believes in the slimming pill themselves, they would never openly advertise a link. Not if there was a small chance it could back-fire on them. The evidence Proof of this approach can be seen in the Telegraph's recent feature on Proactol. Within their article based on slimmer's ‘top 5 tips for losing weight in 2008', they voted Proactol as their second choice. Now considering that the Telegraph is acclaimed for containing the latest in news and scientific information, the fact they have mentioned Proactol numerous times within their article (all in a positive light) is just a further testament to how strongly they believe Proactol is one of the best slimming pills around. But Proactol's presence within the media has not just been limited to the Telegraph. Proactol has also been featured in the Daily Mail, the New York Times and Florida Style Magazine. Each of which are considered to also be reliable sources for information. Saying all this, the media is not the only way to determine whether a slimming pill is real or not – though it does set up a good precedent for making a decision. There are other equally vital points you need to take into consideration when assessing a slimming pill - their clinical trials and their medical backing. Something that Proactol can also easily prove. Medically backed by the Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC, Proactol has undergone 5 successful clinical trials and is clinically proven to help consumers: • Reduce their fat intake by 28% • Suppress their appetite • Decrease their food cravings • Lower their blood cholesterol • Cut their calorie intake by 150 calories per main meal. Add all these facts together and it is easy to see that Proactol is a slimming pill that works. So whilst it may feel as though most slimming pills don't work, there are ones out there - such as Proactol – which can offer you real credible weight loss results.
