Why does the blood of a giraffe not rush into its head when it bends down to drink water?

    they say that its venal syaytem is only one way. so the blood cannot rush into the brain as it bends down. your opinion?

    It has valves that prevent it from going to the head when down. It allows it to go to the head when in normal position. Some still goes to head, just not a rush like if we were upside down.

  • Not true it does go to the head so the Giraffes have to drink in short spurts.
