Most certainly worth it. The discounts applied for Drivers Ed. classes generally last until you are over 18. This could be months, or a couple of years. Having my kids complete Drivers Ed. classes probably saved me a few thousand bucks. (I do have 4 kids).

Yes, I believe it does in most cases. I took driver's ed in high school. Also, some insurance agencies offer good driver and good student discounts as well. Well worth taking it!

Definitely, because it will stay with you for a couple of years. Been a while so I don't remember the exact amount. Also, good grades can earn you a discount with some insurance companies...so, take drivers ed and get good grades in your other classes.

I say go for it. I duno what it'll do for your car insurance... but I'm pretty sure the theory behind the class is to make you a better driver, and that's always good. There are far too many shitty drivers out there.
