i learn thing in a very weird way ... hope this helps lol .. north = nose (upper part of the body) south = slippers (lower part of the body) west and east - if you put your palms together, you can spell WE, by putting W on you left hand, and E on your right hand. got the picture? lol

Know what time of the day it is and look toward the sun. Use left, right forward, backward accordingly. If it's cloudy, I have no clue.....never went for the Eagle scout thing:)
