If you got in a fight would you take more of a boxing (punches) or wrestling (try to pin them down) kind of approach? Why?

I would fall to the ground and play dead. I don't have young bones and I don't know how to fight.

WRestling is more of a turn on I only use fists to the jaw to finish off someone (If I win). Most of the fights I have I am wrestled to the ground, with the person beating me up to hold me down. Hit me in the gut and ribs and then about 10 punches to my jaw to finish me off.

Am I fighting to defend myself? To cause injury? Am I just trying to restrain him/her???

i'd keep my distance until i saw an opening, then try to pin them down, so i guess wrestling.

Kensei, Best of both, if you one knows how to accurately apply it. One must be very careful or it will inflict fatal injures.

Well I was on the wrestling team for a while so would take this approach. But it depends on the size of the opponent and other factors. Usually if I'm in a fight I finish it as quickly as possibly, I don`t do the Queensbury rules thing, if you know what I mean.

More of a boxing style (although I do Karate). I would keep my distance and block punches and kicks. And then stike out when I see an opening. I am not used to grappeling (although I just started doing kung Foo) and wouldnt really know how to grapple.
