  • From what I have been able to find, glaciers did not enter West Virginia during the Pleistocene. The reason that we don't think that they ever did is because glaciers tend to leave leave very distinctive erosional and depositional features. I am not going to take the time to go into all of the possible feature that we would expect to see if glaciers had been present.
