Well, like Jesus said: "I come not to bring peace, but a sword". The old testament was written by the Jews to elevate their place in the world. Jesus was created for two reasons; the first was to take the attention off of the Jews so that their plans would not be easily noticed, and the second reason was to set up the perfect slave like, submissive mentality among the Gentiles so that their plans would easily succeed.

it is throughout the Old Testament what Judaism is looking for from the Messiah...the Messiah Prophecies run throughout the BOOKS....God is the only SAVIOR...HE told them that...but they were looking for a KING that would free them from bondage and take them back to Jerusalem...just them...their personal Messiah...even Rahab , red cord out her window in Jericho, had a part in the Lineage of Christ ..there is the red cord that runs throughout....:)
