Where is the fuel filter located on a 1992 Toyota Tercel?

    Edit: Tj, the problem you described in the comments sounds like the intake air temp sensor or coolant temp sensor gone bad.

    To answer engine light question, likely, the engine light usually indicates the car's computer has detected an error code. Either of these 2 sensors should throw a code upon failing. If you can get the car to your local auto parts while the light is on, they should be able to find it with a code reader. Good Luck!
