Help answer this question below.

Where to find the heater core in a 1986 lincoln contal.i think you get at it under the hood where the heater blower moter is i think that has to come off to get at it ? i dont see anything on the in side but two bolts on the fire wall.

    Before you start pulling out anything, find a chilton's manual for the year and make:

    Most auto parts stores carry a wide range of the manuals - usually each manual several makes and cover a period of years:

    This is due to cars not actually changing that much from year to year - and that many makes share many things.

    Example: My Truck Chilton's covers

    GMC, CHEVY suburbans, blazers and trucks - covering from 1971 to 1982 (or there about) all basically the same.

    They have illustrations and diagrams which help to you located specific parts - it even gives you step by step remove part a to reach part c to replace part d.
