What is the best way to price a painting job if you are a not a seasoned painter? I have been painting for friends & family for free, now I am getting calls from private home owners who want me to paint for them. Thanks

i don't know, but a good way to find out is to call another painter and pretend its your house that needs painting. then ask what the other painter is asking. if you want you can call more than one and calculate the average.

Tried calling. No one is willing to give you a price over the phone or 5 out of 10 of the painters have gone out of business.(get recording from phone co)Thanks. I thought it was a good idea anyway.

you could always ask your clients what they think is a fair price. you dont Have to agree with them of course.
