Easy for you to say, Darryl61! Just like all other prestige makes that are no longer with us, the number of people becoming interested is going up and the number of serviceable examples available is going down. When you have yours, whuddayou care if anyone else gets or not? A Reformee, I believe tracking down the heirs is a good start; the next step would be looking for like-minded people who would be interested in sharing your dream.
I suppose if you could locate all the living heirs of founder George N. Pierce, you might be able to secure the rights to the name and start a company. Building a "new" Pierce Arrow seems to defeat the purpose. They are valuable and desired because they haven't been made since the 30's. You might be happier just joining the Pierce Arrow Society. This organization was founded in the late 50's to help preserve this gem. Check them out. http://www.pierce-arrow.org/

You're reading I'm growing fond of the Pierce-Arrow line of cars. Companies have been resurrected before, so what would it take to resurrect the Pierce-Arrow automobile company, an auto manufacturer that went defunct in 1938?
