I don't know if you can. If you are talking about as a person and not fresh meat, then I would say if you show interest and initiative and work well with others, then they would probably like teaching you. If their attempt at communicating their teaching method, they are going to probably feel satisfied.
I guess you can tell if they like you the same way you tell if anyone likes you.

what kind of like? If you are talking about if a teacher really likes you. Then i could say that Your teacher might stare at you weirdly. But here in HOlt michigan. If a teacher likes a student if that students finds out the teacher would get fired. I seen it happen before
