I remember the slang..but haven't heard it in quite some time! I think it was around before the band actually..I remember seeing a documentary about them and when the subject of the choice of names came up..they indicated that the slang gave them pause when they made the choice.

I don't know if that meaning was ever attached to the band, but there was another rumor about the name's origin that caused them to be blacklisted by religious groups. The rumor was that it stood for Anti-Christ/Devil Child. Here's the true origin of the name: "The ONLY meaning for the band name AC/DC is Alternating Current/ Direct Current (ie. Electricity). Angus and Malcolm's sister Margaret gave them the idea when she read it off of the back of her sewing machine circa 1973. The bands first album "High Voltage" in 1975 should be enough evidence for the meaning of the bands name for the Evangelistic groups that blacklisted the band and who are the ones who came up with the other meanings in the first place." http://en.allexperts.com/q/AC-DC-369/meaning-AC-DC.htm

I haven't heard it in a long time. In fact, it recently came up and neither my partner nor my sister had ever heard it used as slang for bisexual.

I think it needs to be AC/AC or DC/DC. It was a '70's thing. We used to have tee shirts with that on it. It makes more sense to me that way. The band AC/DC was a local one when I was growing up, and people did not seem to connect it that way. I do not know, though.

I don't remember if it was tied to LGT, but MIGHT have been tied to the B. I believe it meant someone who "swings both ways". I have no clue about the band. I would guess they were thinking more "electricity" than sex with the NAME (not the songs! LOL)
