Right now as I sit here... I owe about $8000 to the government, and just a few bills I am a little behind on from being out of work, maybe $500. I owe my grandmother about $550 from a few years ago.
No credit cards. I have had them in the past and they were a huge mistake. Often times a person ends up paying much more than the item was worth.
The most in debt I have ever been was about $16,000.

Nope..Paid off the mortage 5 yrs ago and now pay off all bills as we get them.
my x is the cosigner we are divorced and i have court order documents granting me the car. When I pay the car off could she take it from me?
