Are old Minolta 35 mm lenses (MC Rokkor) compatible with any digital cameras?

    I checked the manuals for the DYNAX5D/Maxxum5D and DYNAX7D/Maxxum7D DSLR cameras. Both state:

    "All Konica Minolta AF lenses are compatible with this camera. MD and MC series lenses cannot be used."

    Konica folded up the Minolta line of cameras about a year ago and the assets were transferred to Sony. The Sony Alpha DSLR cameras can be considered the next generation of Minoltas and build on the existing technology. They are also incompatible with the older lenses.
