I'd go with an Acura or a Honda. Have had both. They're basically the same car. Acura is just nicer. I've had both...hundreds and thousands of miles.

No car is maint free. However a survey in Britain says that the Skoda Octavia (diesel)is the cheapest to keep on the road per mile.

Okay....I rent cars every day...(years 2007-2008) I've been with the company for over two years. We get an annual sheet that shows which car spends the least amount of down time for maintenance (besides regular oil changes) The cars that spends the least amount of time being fixed is: Ford Taurus (Ford 500) Mazda 6 Pontiac Grand Prix Hope this helped!
