Help answer this question below.

My sons 5 month old puppy hasnt eaten in 2 day now and drinks a little water,now he`s trowing up clear foam and flem help what is this and how can i help my sons dog?

    Both answers are correct. This same thing has happened with my dog probably 3 times since I got her, (5 years ago). With my dog, we finally got her to eating again by cooking some hamburger or steak, and mixing it with her regular food. But, IT IS SERIOUS! We have found, (since then), that my dog scrounges for stuff, left by the kids, off of the floor. She then stops eating, followed by the white phlegm, then slowly stops eating again real slowly.
    BUT, PLEASE look in your "yellow pages" for discount vet services, and get your dog there, pronto! Some even let you "pay out" the bill, if money may be a problem.

    My cat did the same thing and I gave him a bath because I had put flea powder on him and he got all better. It may be he got into something or was poisoned. Take him to a vet! They have low cost clinics in virtually every city that I have been in. And also if you explain that you do not have much money to spend then they may let you make payments. They have me before. Also if you feel you cannot afford it then maybe you should consider surrendering the Animal to the ASPCA. At least they could get him the care he needs.

    He may have swollowed something that he cannot digest, or have a twisted stomach, both of wich only a vet can help and need attention right away. He needs assisatance today, there are many 24 hour emergency clinics for pets, and they often are as cheap as a vet. I took my pet there in preference to the local vet, and it was cheaper. They will x-ray him first, then consult with you regarding the needed treatment.
    Look around where he has been and see if there is evidence of chewed items such as plastic ropes or bags etc. Are you missing a small ball, or toy of your sons'?
