  • Yes, Bush Senior and Bush Junior are common names for the two. Many (most, I think) kids get different middle names when their parents name them after themselves.
  • yes that is true. but if you do not use(or know) the middle initial.. then you can use jr. & sr. to abbreviate
  • Not according to the "rules" of names, because ..... The elder Bush's name is: George Herbert Walker Bush. The younger Bush is simply: George Walker Bush. Three and four do not add up to Sr. and Jr. Additionally, I can't say that I've ever heard Dubya referred to as "junior."
  • technically they aren't, because there names aren't an exact match but considering the confusion that often arises when you talk about bush and iraq, bush and the gulf war, bush and the environment, they have nicknames people call them senior and junior, 41, and 43, bush and bush the second, and a number of other things bush senior and bush junior each have their own set of nicknames as well, but when referring to both in the same conversation, people tend to clarify by using names that come in sets, like senior or junior, or 41 and 43 but there names are George H. W. Bush and George W. Bush. There is no George Bush Sr. or George Bush Jr. or George Bush the second or anything like that
