Goodwill, hardcover books are a dollar, and they have a great selection. So many people do those book clubs, order 10 for a dollar, buy four more in two years, then get rid of them.

Barnes And Noble. But now I'm poor so I have to use the library. I'm still getting used to the fact that I don't have to pay to read books and I can check out a bunch at a time.

In Germany, Walther König, the main store in Cologne. It is the best art book store in the world.
In the U. S. I like Strand the most, because you find something there ell the time.

as far as chain stores go, Barnes and Nobles. Of all time it is Powell's books in Portland, OR. The store takes up a city block and has new and used stuff. You can find anything you ever have dreamed of there. If you are a book fanatic, a trip to Portland just for the store is worth the trip.

The Book Rack, hands down. It's this little used book store in Gastonia, N.C.. It is mostly trashy historical romance novels.
