Question

Help answer this question below.

I think I have "shingles". The problem is they started on my left side under my armpit where my bra strap sits. Will wearing a bra on top of these bumps make it worse? I need a bra. Please help.

Shingles does come to the meaning of the very disease: Herpes Zoster Infection. It could very rarely make any symptom in the eyes. Yet having had your bra you can use anti-viral ointment and drugs plus B group vitamines and "analgetica"!

I do have shingles. I am on meds. I am wearing a nylon tube top to keep the boobs from flopping because the bottom of my bra sits right where the blisters are and I cannot take pressure on that area. At home just cotton t-shirt touches the blisters.

Cover the rash, then wear the bra.

What can be done to prevent the spread of shingles?
The risk of spreading shingles is low if the rash is covered. People with shingles should keep the rash covered, not touch or scratch the rash, and wash their hands often to prevent the spread of VZV. Once the rash has developed crusts, the person is no longer contagious.

- I don't know. I only know the shingles stuff because the woman who owns the shop next to me has shingles, and what I read in the link. Her doctor gave her Valtrex.

- No walk in places are open or taking new patients today. I guess I am screwed until Monday. It will probably just loom up in other areas.

Go to the doctor!!!!!!!! You could go blind from shingles.

- Okay, I will see Dr. on Monday hopefully. He will give me a prescription for Valtrex and then the pharmacy tech will give me a strange look thinking I have genital herpes.
