Don't most people love to create? Artists want to paint pictures. If you can sing or play an instrument, you usually want to do so. Writers like to write. Actors love to act. Women usually want to have children. The creative impulse and ability doesn't like to do nothing.

A lot of religions don't know the answer, yet the Bible that they claim to use contains the answers. Here is how the Bible answers your question (Scriptures cited). God created this earth so that humans could enjoy living on it forever. He wanted the earth always to be inhabited by righteous, happy people. (Psalm 115:16; Isaiah 45:18) Despite what some skeptics claim about some distant comet bound for Earth, the Bible says that the earth will never be destroyed; it will last forever. see Psalm 104:5; Ecclesiastes 1:4. That certainly is a comforting thought. Consider too just how long the Earth has already been around. Before God made man, He chose one small part of the earth and made it into a beautiful paradise. He called it the garden of Eden. It was here that he put the first man and woman, Adam and Eve. God purposed for them to have children and fill the whole earth. Gradually they would have made the entire earth into a paradise. also see Genesis 1:28; 2:8, 15.

Perhaps it was bordom - after all, it's what inspires much of human thought. People are board so they do something - like visiting Answer Bag for example. As for why religions seldom if ever explain why the gods created the earth - the likely answer is that the humans that actually created the religions never bothered to work it out or to include it in their theology. Religions are "man made" of course - they do not naturally happen in nature - there was no "religion tree" or "god-beast" anywhere in our pre historic past.

Why did you never get points for that question. I think it's an excellent one. I believe that it simply supports the fact that man created god to explain what science was not yet able to.

I say this with respect, but this question is not going to be answered any where near what the truth might be on this silly forum...peace to you...if you really want to know the answer, read the Holy Bible...
