No, I walked. It was that close, though it was a country school. Most of my friends rode in on the big yellow buses, though. I did sometimes, when I slept over at their houses,..after ball games, etc. Those were great times. I think about them often, many miles and years away. I had a great "kid-hood".

yes, it was kinda fun. When I was real young, my dad took me in the car before he went to work. Then the bus for a couple years. I walked most of my school years.

Rode a yellow school bus. Had to walk out to the road from my house, which set about 1/16 to 1/8 mile off road. I grew up in the country, closest neighbor was about 2 to 3 miles away.

The only time I rode the bus was on field trips. I walked or one of my parents dropped me off if the weather was bad.

I took the bus until the novelty wore off, then i walked the hour to school rain or shine. I loved the winter time when my favourite trails were snow covered and looked completely different.

Yes, I rode the yellow school bus sometimes. It was ridiculous in elementary school because my bus stop was more than half of the way to school. I rode my bike when I could.

i did ride a yellow school bus and i got on and off at my house, i was the only kid on my street so there was no actual bus stop.

Depending on how close or far I lived from school at the time, I either rode the yellow bus to school, or walked. It probbly was taking the bus most of the time.

We didn't have school buses in Croatia in the time when I was going to school only public traffic. However, the city buses are yellow, because the color of my hometown is yellow, so yes, I did ride the yellow bus to school :).

In elementary my parents brought me to school and I rode the bus home, is middle school my parents brought me to school and I walked/or rode the bus home, and in high school I walked/rode with my parents to school and always walked home, rain or shine… good thing I graduated in Florida or else I would have been walking home in the snow too.

No yellow school buses here in New Zealand that I know about. The only ones I've seen are in USA on TV! We walked to school. Primary, Intermediate and High Schools were all within walking distance. If we were lucky ~ for a treat, MUm might come and get us in the car.

nope. We didn't have yellow busses. Mine was red with a cream stripe, leased from the local bus company. then on the way home we had to get regular service busses which were also red with a cream stripe
