Women find men who are confident attractive, I often find I'm overly confident and it become misconstrued as arrogance. how do I avoid giving the opposite sex the wrong impression. with out swaying to my own personal beliefs?

you have just asked the million dollar question. The only advice i can give you is act like you don't want to have sex. after i got my gf and got some self confidence more women were checking me out partially because the way i acted. which was that i was not trying to get in there pants.

Find a woman who is confident too and show her your humble side or try to be more humble sincerely if you can...let her know your not arrogant...be yourself and show her your not a cocky dude with a big ego

Confidence can be your best friend or it can be your worst. The difference between being really confident and to the point of arrogance is how a woman feels you are portraying yourself based with others. If your pulling of the vibe that you are better than others and YOU THINK you are better than others then this is usually a huge turnoff. Being confident is not being hesitant on decisions you make and moves you make with a woman. You take charge and be very intelligent and sure of every decision you make. A girl looks at qualities like this and can fall for you foreverrrr. Just find out what makes you, you and sell it. Don't hesitate to be yourself and like being who you really are.
