Help answer this question below.

We adopted a beautiful baby boy from Korea - his name is Yeon-wu... surname is private. do you know what his name translates to? all i seem to come up with is abundant and kite, and that was a while ago.. nothing else? any ideas, sugg

    I know this answer is kinda late but hope I can help if this has yet to be answered.

    Well, here's a short answer. It's very hard to tell because Korean is a phonetic language where names are based off of Chinese characters. Thus without knowing what his Korean name is in Chinese characters it is very difficult to know exactly.

    Also, it's true yeon can mean kite but it's most likely not, Korean names are usually based off of character or physical qualities.
