Question

Help answer this question below.

If your boss had told u....if ur late one more time ur fired.....but the next day on ur way to work u saw a dog hurt severly...would stop and help if it ment u were late?

No. I'd make a note of where it was and call the humane society. They are better equipped to deal with injured animals than I am.

Oh, just as an aside, if you spell correctly, it makes your questions easier to read and more likely to get answered.

- Some people do not answer questions that contain a large number of misspellings. I am not one of them, but correct spelling makes it more likely that people will take your questions seriously. For instance, maybe your problems at your workplace are not only being late, but also include the fact that you can't seem to spell correctly. It adds an additional level to the question.

I would bring the dog in to work as proof that i had a good reason. Either way it works as it shows you have compassion which can be good or you're sick enough in the head that you hurt a dog, which shows that firing you may have lethal results for your boss.

I would never stop for an injured dog. You never know what you might be getting into. Perverts use dogs as bait to lure people. I would call on my cell, or as soon as I got to work to report it.

- and you've obviously never been bit by a rabid dog, or an injured, crazy dog either. I think your question is really about being late for work, which you should never do. If you don't like your job, find another one.

well...obviously you've been late more than once. If I valued my job, then I'd go on to work because your boss will never believe the story about you having to stop to help a dog.

That poor animal needs you to help him.
You HAVE to stop and get him medical attention.
There is NO other option.

That said, why is your boss threatening you?
Are you consistently late for work?
If so, you really need to address that issue.
You were hired in the first place because you were needed.
Lateness is very inconsiderate to everyone you work with.
Work on your time management.

Unexpected things do come up, but when you're late everyday, no one really believes your reasons for tardiness anymore.

I would stop, My job wouldn't fire me for being late. And, I would probably call in and ask if someone could cover for me until I could get back to work..

to be honest if my job ment that much i wouldnt stop. id call 911 and report what i saw as im still driving to work

- not horriable i said the same thing. the dog will die regardless why is it our problem? if u feel that bad make a phone call on ur way in to work, but stopping and loosing ur job would be dumb.
