Radio station WJSV (which would later become WTOP, then WTWP) in Washington, D.C. recorded its entire broadcast day on Thursday, September 21, 1939. If you can get the clothes, the magazines, the newspapers, and all the other paraphernalia you need to make you look like someone who was in the Washington area at that time, you can actually transport yourself in time back to that day.
