  • I depends on how you define the Continental United States. If you mean by this the contiguous 48 states, then it is a point along the coast of Northern Washington that is located at 48° 22' 51.28" N latitude, 124° 43' 55.51" W longitude. (This is disregarding the numerous rocky pinnacles that are right off of the coast there.) If you include Alaska in the Continental U. S. (it is on the continent after all), then it is a point on the Alaskan coast that is located at about 65° 38" 32.31" N latitude, 168° 07' 22.44" W longitude. (Locations obtained using Google Earth http://earth.google.com/) ********************** "Bob Blaylock: If you're going to count Alaska, then you should probably include the Aleutian Islands, which are considered part of Alaska.: Sorry, Bob, but I have to disagree with you here. The Aleutian Islands are not part of the continent. They may be part of Alaska, but they really aren't part of the Continental U.S. Thus, I did not consider them in my answer. BTW, going back and checking my coordinates in Alaska I discovered that I got the wrong longitude for the point up there. I have correct that error.
  • OK, SKIP continental. Just say, "The United States" and it will be Alaska. We are the Northern-most, Eastern-most, and Western-most State in the Union...
  • i think yall are both wrong because its Maine =P
