There is a white triangular shaped object to the left of the iPod under devices. Click on that, and it will populate the list of the folders within the iPod.

If you plug in your iPod to a computer that does not have all the songs and info can you put everyhting on that computer??

You're reading I jus bought an ipod classic 80G, i connect it to my computer it shows the ipod icon under devices but it doesnt show the music,video etc icons under the ipod icon..Wat do i do?

It only shows the ipod icon when i click the triangle. n then theres the license agreement that wont leave the window even when i click agree and save.

OK try the following. Authorize your account on your computer under the store tab in Windows at the top left. Then try and check for updated software for the iPod in the Summary Tab of iTunes. If that doesn't help. Disconnect the iPod and rest it by toggling the hold switch on top. Then hold the menu and center select button down at the same time. Once you see the Apple come on the screen. Release the buttons at the same time. It should go to the main menu on the iPod. Then try and reconnect to your computer. If that doesn't work, restore the iPod in iTunes. If now of this helps call Apple iPod support for help.
