Loved naptime.
Still do =)
I liked the arts & crafts time the best. I remember making drums out of Quaker Oats containers.
I liked playing with the blocks.
Naptime.
I used to stay awake during it, though. Always make funny noises, get up because I was bored, ya' know.
Now I can't stay awake during school and want naptime.
:(
I did not go to kindergarten. But if you are talking about American kindergarten then there maybe a difference in what you mean.
Arts and crafts. I've always been a doer, not a sleeper or watcher.
Story time and snack time.
Snacktime;)
Country school, one room, 12 kids in all, in assorted grades - no kindergarten - no first grade, either. Second grade was the start, for me.
There was a toy I loved that was like a Russian Matroushka, but was rounded boxes. You took them out one by one and at the end there was a little man on a platform. I was fascinated with taking it apart and putting it back together again. I can see it clear as clear in my mind's eye as I type, even though it was over 40 years ago.
I loved it when we painted with our fingers!!
Lunch, recess.
arts and crafts
Arts & crafts. I also liked learning new songs.
Storytime. I loved the Harry the Dog stories and Dr Suess books in particular.
I didn't like pretend games and tried to climb up the wall when teacher said we should be squirrels.
She told us there was a lion in the storeroom and I said "no there isn't because if it was there all the time it would have starved".
I loved nap time which suprised me that my son who just started Kindergarten this year doesn't have nap time any more. When I get him off the bus he's always sleeping.
Show and tell. No matter what someone brought in, like 4 kids always raised their hands and said "...I like it."
and it was the BEST compliment EVER!
Naptime? We didn't have that in England :(
NAP TIME! you got nap time!!! i never got nap time :( i like the art part of make believe. that was fun
I didn't have nap time in Kindergarten. I liked story time and the arts and crafts. I remember I wanted them to read "The Lion King," and I brought it to school but I don't believe they ever got around to reading it. Life was so simple back then.
