Beleave me people who are interested in this kinda stuff already know about it, internet or not. Jump on back to some of the older Google hits and check the dates. Some states have already outlawed it. I think Florida wants to send you away for 15 years or more. The stiff has been around since B4 people, people have been using it since they found it. I have no experience with it. I'd wager that it is not as psychodelic or as hallucinogenic as the media or the lawmakers ( who rely more on the media and the public's response to the media, than to real experts for their info anyway) make it out to be. After all, according to them, marajuana supposedly makes you hallucinate all sorts of things and gives you uncontrollable murderous and suicidal urges. I had some experience with that long ago and none of that ever happened to me or anyone I knew. I wouldn't wanta drive after doobyin up, but that can be controlled with traffic laws, as effectively ( or ineffectively) as we control executives driving after a martini lunch. The effects seem to be short lived, an hour, about as long as it takes to recover from one martini or beer. Outlawing it is gonna raise the price, giving the underworld and 'organized crime' more incentive to push it, using the proceeds to bankroll their other activities, violating other laws to protect their Salvia investments. Give them another source of income in their battles in the War on Drugs. Users commiting crimes to raise funds for Salvia. The Govt. will have to spend more in their battles. All in all it seems just another tempest in a pot pipe.

My friend has tried salvia. He said he tripped really hard off it for like 15 minutes and then was completely back to normal in a snap. He said it was really weird.

It's not bad, just that many who want to take it have no business doing so, as they aren't prepared for what they might find and are quite frankly, none too bright. It's not something to do just for "fun." On the other hand, making Salvia illegal is probably the worst move that could be made.
