Do they still make that "new formula" 7up? It didn't last long here in Vietnam. We have the original. I know it's been a couple of years, but I hate to see those kind of changes.

Just about every single major soda here in the USA is not original anymore as they all have abandoned using cane sugar. Most use that horrid high fructose corn syrup. Nothing tastes like it should anymore. Just the fact that they p-lace them in aluminum cans has altered the taste from what it was in glass bottles. And plastic? Yuck! Give me soda that is made with real sugar in a glass bottle with real flavors!!!

Yes, LT. Those idiots at Dr. Pepper/Seven Up didn't think they were getting enough of the market. So they changed it with "natural flavors." It's so sickeningly sweet, it's awful. I prefer either the store brand stuff or Sprite.

I have written to the company to complain but I never got a response. Boy, they sure care about their consumers, don't they?

And 7-Up used the corn syrup before this formula change. That wasn't the culprit. The problem was that they changed the actual recipe of the syrup. It used to be made with reconstituted lemon and lime juice. Now they use "natural flavor," the same stuff that's used to make pies and pastries.

    It's awful.

    Drink Sprite.
