    Obviously you aren't in the same part of Oregon as I am. Ch. 13 in Eugene has some reporters that I would never consider attractive. Seriously though, there was a case in the late 80's of a female reporter that was fired for not being "attractive enough", I can't remember all the details, but she was awarded a fairly large sum due to discrimination. It's all about ratings and it is very discriminatory.

    Yes it is descrimination. If the news channels have attractive reporters people are more likely to watch. Eye candy = ratings.
    Would you rather hear you news from Jessica Alba or Rosie Odonnell? (no offense to rosie)
