Your question is incomplete, so I will assume you want to get a new high capacity drive and keep everything the way it was.

The answer is you can clone all the data the old drive over to the new one. Everything will be an exact match. I'd highly recommend Western Digital's newest 640GB drive the WD6400AAKS; for it's high capacity, "high performance" speed, technical support, and all the tools necessary to transfer data are included in the "RETAIL BOX"; avoid OEM.
