What is the easiest way to learn the French language?

• If you're used to relative poverty (such as most college students are - a good thing[imho]), the only big expense is getting there. A summer job's savings should cover it (at least it did '73)!

• PBS.org French in action. I think they are classes that you have to purchase though. They dont do downloads as they are a non profit organization.

• I had my son schooled this way. He spent Grades one thru eight learning in French and it wasn't until high school that he actually had teachers teaching him in English. He's totally bilingual today and in his final year of a Degree in (of all things) English.

• Wow !! Great to hear. I have a cousin who learned German in a summer and then went over to Germany to teach English. Then she married a German doctor and lives there now and her kids are bilingual too. :)
