Isn't it some of the dehydrated 'cheese'? (Pause here for "gaak" sound) I guess that would make it 'cheesier'. (Repeat)

I looked up the ingredients on the back. (Eliminating the macaroni and cheese mix ingredients left only about five to search). The white powder is Maltodextrin. This is what I found on it, though not sure it will be much use. Maltodextrin either can be moderately sweet or have hardly any flavor at all. Maltodextrin is a polysaccharide that is used as a food additive. It is produced from starch and is usually found as a creamy-white hygroscopic powder. Maltodextrin is easily digestible, being absorbed as rapidly as glucose. ... it is a soluble polysaccharides obtained from starch by the application of heat or acids and used mainly as adhesives and thickening agents. The powder, a solid solute, raises the boiling point of the water and allows the water in the microwave to be heated beyond the usual 212 degrees Fahrenheit. It's the microwave version of the old pressure cooker pot on the stove.
