Make sure you are deleting them off of the iPod and not the library. In iTunes on the left you should see the name of your iPod. Make sure you are looking at the contents of that and not the contents of your library. Then delete the songs from the iPod.

You're reading I have an ipod nano 3rd generation.when i go into itunes i right click and delete my songs but when i disconnect my ipod they are still on it how do i delete them?
