Help answer this question below.
Thats the dream.
Yes, I was thinking about having a small/medium business on Second Life.
I do so already ...
Had business in the city which I sold 4 years ago ...
Then started a business on the net ...
With a business partner we buy, renovate and sell farm properties ... Whenever possible we live on the property whilst renovating.
last but not least ... I have a Small producing farm of my own.
But I manage to do most of it from home these days
It's easy to do if you are prepared to take the first doubtful step.
Never say Never
Thankyou

if i can do both, i will because there are also disadvantages if youre just working at home such as you can't experience different environments but the advantage is that its comfy to work at home
I would love to work from home...the American dream that everyone is striving for.
The only problem is everyone is trying to do it, so you should get in the race now.
No, i would look at porn and play video games all day.
Disciplining myself probably be in the lines of, if I beat the next boss then I'll earn a 60 second brake to run the bathroom then grab soda and chips. Then if I finished playing the game I would maybe get back to a few hours of work.
I'd love to. But it's not an easy thing to do.
ya surely,if I get an opportunity.
I do, I telework one day each week.
I like it but wouldn't want to do it more than one or two days per week.
Yes ... and ever since 1977, I do ... click my avatar and read my profile ...
I have in the past. It can be hard to concentrate sometimes. But I think the majority of it depends on if you have small children, and if your significant other, will be supportive in letting you "work" while you are at home.
i couldnt work from home. I dont think i'd get anything done to be honest.
That would be freaking sweet.
Where do I sign up?
No. I need the separation between work and home life.
Yes, I would like to work from home since I have already retired from my gainful employment. It would be good experience for me, I think!
No, I would never get anything done...or leave my house
Yes, in fact I'm currently building up my freelance business so I can transition to full time. It's important for me to be home with my daughter. But I think people underestimate how difficult it can be to work from home. There are a lot more distractions and motivational issues than in a traditional office. It's not all easy street, but it's a wonderful opportunity if you can do it.
I have done that before, but I didn't enjoy it completely because I didn't leave my first job. It was tough: having to juggle two full-time jobs made me feel that I was killing myself slowly.
But I would like to work from home again, if given the chance again.
